Perissa & Perivolos beach
Perissa village is a seaside area on the south east coast of Santorini with several kilometers of black sand beach. Towering over the beach on the north side is the mountain of Mesa Vouno, site of Ancient Thira. Perissa connects with Perivolos beach, and the collective area is the longest stretch of beach on the island. Both beaches are organized.
At Perissa you can find many water sports facilities, diving schools and a water park, as well as cafes, bars and clubs by the sea. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent.
 At night you can do a night walk in the huge cobblestone street of the village, next to the beach, and enjoy beautiful summer nights.
 
Vlychada beach
Located in Southern Santorini, just 10 minutes driving from Georgia villa Hotel, Vlychada beach is a different beach in Santorini, Greece. The picturesque little port with the elegant yachts, local fisherman and the traditional fish taverns, with the smells of local delicacies, make Vlychada beach, a favorite amongst those who visit the island.

Famous Beaches of Santorini

Red Beach (Kokkini Paralia)

This beach is located near the village of Akrotiri and just 15 minutes driving from the hotel. Its name reveals its colour. Everything here is red creating together with the rocks a landscape you can't find anywhere else. It is a small beach, although it’s a rather busy place and next to Red beach you can visit, only by local boats from Akrotiri, the White beach of Santorini.

 
Kamari beach is a big black sand beach on the southeast part of Santorini island and just 10 kilometres (6.2 Miles) away from Georgia Villa in Perissa. This beach is one of the famous in Santorini and hosts many visitors in the summertime, and is served by many restaurants, traditional taverns, bars, souvenir shops and clothing shops. Local Bus service to and from Fira is available.

Fira the Capital

 

Overlooking the Caldera and the Volcano of Santorini, Fira town is the island's capital and is on the western side of Santorini. The village is perched 300 meters above the old port and is the largest town on the island.
With lots of shops, traditional restaurants and cafes attract thousands of visitors in the summer.With wonder panoramic views over the volcano, Fira is one of the best sights in Greece.
You can also visit the Prehistoric and Folklore Museums, as well as the many churches.

Fira is just 15 minutes by Bus from Perissa village!

Imerovigli village

 

Traditional whitewashed houses and churches with blue domes, narrow crisscrossing walking paths and beautiful sunsets. In Imerovigli village you can explore the remains of Skaros, a 13th-century Venetian palace, take wonderful pictures-shots and enjoy a drink or coffee in a shop on the cliffs of the Caldera.Imerovigli is just 2 Km from Fira Town.

Pyrgos village Santorini

 

Pyrgos is a traditional village built on the slopes of Mt. Profitis Ilias, in the center of the Island. It is one of the most impressive Santorini villages, with Byzantine churches, Medieval Manors and Venetian Castles. Pyrgos provide a lovely view of the island and the Aegean Sea. The beaches of Kamari and Perissa are located just a few kilometers from Pyrgos village at Santorini.

Oia village Santorini

 

Oia (Ia), is the most famous of all villages of Santorini and a must visit place. It is known throughout the world for its quiet life and unique sunsets.Oia village is built in the traditional architecture with whitewashed buildings carved into the rock, blue domed churches in narrow streets and sun-bathed verandas. The highest attraction of the village is the fabulous sunset. A square overlooks the sea and visitors may observe a truly fantastic sunset on Santorini.

Akrotiri village Santorini

 

Akrotiri village is in the southwestern and most distant edge of the island, 6 km (3.7 ml) away from Perissa. Became particularly famous the ancient city that was discovered buried under the volcano’s ashes by the well known archaeologist Spiros Marinatos. Akrotiri at Santorini is famous for Archaeological excavations, the lighthouse, the Red beach, White beach, fish taverns, a small port, panoramic Volcano view from the Kasteli (Akrotiri castle) in the center of the village .
